Greetings from Pastor Wayne
I am privileged to serve as pastor of this wonderful local church called State Line Baptist Church. In these darkest of days, it is the hope of this local church to be used by the Lord JESUS CHRIST to reach our community in fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We endeavor to accomplish this through:
- Faithfully and Boldly preaching the Word of God Our preaching is centered around the Gospel of Christ, a Gospel that declares that through Jesus' life, death, and recurrection, sinful man can find forgiveness of our sin and forgiven people can enjoy a relationship with a Holy God and possess the gift of eternal life. (2 Timothy 4:2, Ephesians 2:8)
- Assembly We will regularly gather together for Sunday services, mid-week Bible study, and various in-person fellowships that provide opportunities to worship the Lord, encourage one another, and grow in relationship with the Lord JESUS CHRIST and His church. (Hebrews 10:25)
- Discipleship Each believer receives Biblical instruction that equips each believer to grow in the Lord, live out their salvation among a perishing world, and serve as a witness to the lost. (2 Timothy 3: 15-17)
- Missions A love for the lost and hurting of the world drives our desire to support mission efforts around the world. State Line Baptist Church supports various efforts that reach both locally and beyond. 14% of all giving that comes into this local church is designated to the support of these mission efforts. (1 John 4:11)
It is our intention and hope that the Lord will continue to help us on our journey to become a church for the whole family. Come join us as we serve the Lord together until HE COMES AGAIN!
